the world's first mobo breaking the 1GHz barrier of 780G graphics core clock
January 25th, 2008 - Today, the J&W team successfully overclocked the AMD 780G graphics core from its default 500MHz clock to more than doubled - 1,023MHz (1 GHz) on stock heatsink with simple air cooling, this is equal to a 104.6% overclocked. More important is, this is the world's 1st AMD 780G board breaking through the 1GHz GPU clock speed barrier!
With a AMD Phenom™ 9600 Quad-core processor running at default speed (200MHz*11.5, 2.3GHz) , the team had completed the Futuremark 3DMark 06 test and a remarkable score of 1,988 was recorded, which was only 12 points away from 2,000 3DMarks. (January 26th update: We already broken our own record and the 2,000 3DMarks barrier by enabling the side-port memory onboard, which can boost up the graphics performance by as much as 15% at the best scenario.)

Featuring the new AMD® 780G + SB700 chipsets, J&W RS780UVD-AM2+ is integrated with ATI Radeon™ HD 3200 Graphics, which is ready for DirectX® 10 and the Vista Premium 2008 requirements.
It supports the latest AMD® Phenom family processors while it's also backward compatible with the Athlon and Sempron Series CPUs.
The board fully complies with the new-generation HyperTransport 3.0™ and PCI-Express® 2.0 standards.
Moreover, it is integrated with the Unified Video Decoder (UVD) and supports the ATI Avivo™ HD Technology, providing the best High-Definition experience to end-users.
Powered by the ATI PowerPlay™ Technology, when the system is idle, the 780G chip consumes less than 2 Watt of power, which saves a lot on the electric bills on long term.
